I hope this message finds you in the best of health and spirits. I am a CSP Officer and presently working as Deputy Commissioner in Sibi Balochistan. Generally responsible for security and development of Sibi District, I'll officiate as Chairman of Organizing Committee for Sibi Mela 2013.Sibi is a very old town and reflects the history of the Bolan Pass, the Coal Route and dates back deep to ancient civilizations like Mehrgarh. Annual Festival of Sibi Mela is celebrated here since 1885 as a five day event. It began as a Horse & Cattle Show but later expanded to include a variety of track events, cultural performances and professional exhibitions attracting over 70,000 people every year from all over Pakistan.I would like to explore, with you friends, whether Sibi Mela 2013 be further expanded to include a Pakwheel Show. We in Balochistan are rich in area with variety of terrain (Mountains, Gorges, Green Fields etc.). Sibi is three hours drive from Quetta, four from Sukkur and two from Jacobabad. It is easily accessible from all over Pakistan especially via Sukkur-Shikarpur-Jacobabad-Dera Murad Jamali (Quetta - Sukkur Highway). In Balochistan's security situation Sibi is relatively the safest district around.Please come up with your ideas and requirements of a road show/ exhibition etc. and let me know what I should do and expect.
